Good book, easy to follow. However the Arabic text is too small to read and the Arabic writing style is usually too sophisticated for a basic Arabic book. In many occasions the writing is so tightly joined together, it is sometimes very difficult for a beginner to distinguish and figure out all of the Arabic symbols that do form a word.The CDs that accompany this book are excellent, and in many ways do make up for the shortcomings in the book I have described above. Its good for beginners and helps you to get started with Arabic but it should be used if you are going to be somewhere where you will be able to practice
